28th Gawad Ustetika

The Varsitarian is now accepting manuscripts for the 28th Ustetika, its annual literary derby. The genres include: Poetry/Tula, Fiction/Katha, Essay/Sanaysay, One Act Play/Dula. OSG hinihikayat ang mga Tomasino na magsuot ng pulang damit bukas

Hinihikayat ng Office of the Secretary General ang bawat Tomasino na magsuot ng PULANG DAMIT bukas bilang pagpapakita na ang UST ay isang Pro-Life na institusyon. 

Ito ay kaalinsabay ng magaganap na Prayer Rally bukas sa EDSA Shrine na kumokondena sa RH bill.

Schedule of the 2012 Thomasian Welcome Walk on Aug. 7:

3:30 p.m. - Freshmen parade (UST grounds)
5:30 p.m. - Eucharistic celebration (UST Grandstand)
6:45 p.m. - Welcome Rite (UST Grandstand)
7:30 p.m. - Free concert (Quadricentennial Pavilion open and covered courts)

“All freshmen should be excused from their classes from 2 p.m. onwards. Classes in the upper levels should be dismissed at 5:00 p.m. to allow the students to join in the Mass in honor of the Feast of St. Dominic.” - Office of the Secretary General
